Location services, one of Instagram's newly released features, have caused a frenzy among users, with users raising concerns of being watched over or traced by their followers.

Here’s how to turn Instagram location services on or off on iPhone:
- Exit the Instagram app and open your iPhone’s Settings
- Tap on Privacy & Security, then select Location Services
- Scroll down and tap on Instagram
- Choose Never or While Using the App to adjust location access
By default, Instagram’s location setting is off, but you can enable it whenever you post a photo, deciding whether to grant the app access to your location.
How to turn Instagram notifications on or off?
Similar to any other social media app, an upside of using Instagram is that you can opt in or out of push notifications for likes or comments on your posts. If notifications are enabled, you can choose accounts for which you want to receive alerts.
Follow these steps to manage push notifications:
- Tap the More icon (hamburger menu) in the bottom left, then select the Settings icon
- Click on Notificationsin the left menu
- Select Push Notificationsand adjust your settings accordingly
