Honda has taken a big step into the electric motorcycle market with the launch of its first electric sports bike, the EV Fun Concept. This bike is part of Honda’s plan to release 30 electric motorcycles by 2030, aiming to lead the industry in sustainable, high-performance vehicles.

Designed with a sporty, “naked” style, the EV Fun Concept has a sleek frame with sharp lines and an exposed battery pack, giving it a futuristic and bold look.

What sets EV Fun Concept apart?

The EV Fun Concept offers power and performance comparable to a mid-sized internal combustion engine bike, making it suitable for both city commutes and open-road rides.

It provides an estimated range of over 96 kilometres on a full charge, enough for most short- to medium-distance rides. The bike’s battery is integrated directly into the frame and charges with a CCS2 charger, the same type used in Honda’s electric cars, offering convenience and compatibility for EV users.

Honda’s development of the EV Fun Concept showcases its commitment to reducing emissions and offering eco-friendly alternatives to traditional gas-powered bikes.

This model represents a new era for Honda’s lineup, blending classic Honda quality with the latest in electric motor technology.

Honda has confirmed that the EV Fun Concept will enter production, with plans to have it available in showrooms by the end of 2025. As more riders turn to electric options, the EV Fun Concept may set a new standard for electric sports bikes, combining performance, design, and eco-friendly technology.
