The Honda WN7 reflects the company’s long-term goal of making all its motorcycle products carbon-neutral by the 2040s and achieving company-wide carbon neutrality by 2050.
Honda is a well-known company with more than 75 years of two-wheel innovation. The Honda WN7 electric motorbike is positioned in the “Fun” segment and embodies Honda’s vision of delivering an enjoyable, high-performance ride with zero emissions.
Honda WN7 electric bike specifications
Notably, the model name WN7 comes from “W” for “Be the Wind,” “N” for “Naked,” and “7” indicating the output class. This electric motorbike offers a quiet, smooth ride distinct from traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles while maintaining the thrill and responsiveness.
In terms of performance, Honda WN7 delivers power equivalent to a 600cc ICE due to its 18kW water-cooled motor producing 100Nm of torque.
The motor is powered by a fixed lithium-ion battery, which is said to provide a range of more than 130km. For charging, the Honda WN7 is compatible with CCS2, enabling rapid charging from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. It can also be charged via a 6kVA wall box charger, which takes three hours for a full charge.
A 5-inch TFT screen connects with Honda RoadSync, letting riders place their smartphones for navigation, calls, and music (app installation required).
Notably, Honda plans to continue diversifying its electric motorcycle offerings, from commuter models to performance “Fun” models.
