
Honor has officially launched the Honor Pad X9 Pro in China as the successor to the Honor Pad X9, which was introduced earlier in India. This new tablet brings a host of significant upgrades, including a larger 11.5-inch 2K LCD screen and a powerful 8,300mAh battery with fast charging support.
It is designed to meet the advanced requirements of users; the device incorporates cutting-edge features such as artificial intelligence-powered tools and Honor’s in-house smart assistant, YOYO, delivering a seamless and intuitive experience.
Honor Pad X9 Pro specifications
The Honor Pad X9 Pro is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 685 SoC, combined with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for apps, media, and files.
For optics, it features an 8MP rear sensor for capturing photos and a 5MP front-facing shooter, ideal for selfies and video calls. In addition, the device runs on the latest Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0.
A quad-speaker unit enhances audio quality, while AI-powered functionality takes user interaction to the next level. The tablet also includes parental control options, ensuring a safer experience for younger users.
In terms of battery capabilities, the Honor Pad X9 Pro is equipped with an 8,300mAh battery that supports 35W wired fast charging, ensuring users can quickly recharge and enjoy extended hours of usage. For connectivity, the device includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port.
The Honor Pad X9 Pro has three tantalising colour options: Cangshan Grey, Jade Dragon Snow, and Sky Blue.
Honor Pad X9 Pro pricing and availability
The Honor Pad X9 Pro is available at CNY 1,099 (approximately INR 12,000) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM model with 128GB of storage costs CNY 1,199 (approximately INR 14,100), while the top-tier 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option is available for CNY 1,499 (approximately INR 17,600).
The Honor Pad X9 Pro is now open for pre-orders in China through the official Honor China e-store, with deliveries starting from January 10, 2025.
