The realm of electric vehicles in Pakistan appears to be wreathed in saturation, witnessing a saturation of manufacturers which is far from fading.
But at the 12th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024, a worthy opponent, Honri, seems to be kicking in, aiming to introduce Pakistan's first locally assembled EV.
Scheduled to kick off on November 19 and run through November 22, 2024, the remarkable debut of Honri Ve —a product of first-class, eco-friendly mobility— will prove a testament to Dewan’s commitment to sustainability at the biennially organised defence exhibition.

Honri will reportedly disclose two variants of the Honri Ve, including Honri Ve 2.0 and Honri Ve 3.0, offering a reliable and efficient transport medium for those eyeing pocket-friendly vehicles.
Honri Ve range
The Ve 2.0 is the standard model regarding which the company promises 200km of mileage on a single charge, meanwhile, the Ve 3.0 has been claimed to deliver a maximum of 300km over one fill.
If the ongoing buzz around these EVs is led organically, then these EVs will be well received by consumers, subsequent prompting a revolution in the automotive market for offering a sustainable and affordable alternative to conventional, fuel-centric economy.
Honri Ve price in Pakistan
Honri Ve is available at a starting price point of Rs3,999,000, and since the company has not confirmed the price of Honri Ve 3.0, it remains to be seen how Honri Ve will fare against the automotive space already swamped with formidable contenders.
