An Android Avatar is the photo linked to your profile, identifying the user, especially on a handset with several profiles. The avatar can be an image, an animated icon, and, on Android 15, your Google account image.
It helps prevent profile mix-ups on family devices or shared uses. Users can change their avatar at any time by following these steps and selecting their profile. In Android 15, the avatar picker now includes your Google account photo as an option, providing the latest feature previously restricted to preset images.
Gadinsider has compiled a step-by-step guide to change Avatar on your smartphones.
