The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched new and easier digital payment methods to provide citizens with extra convenience as they pay for NADRA services without needing to wait in long lines.
The new process allows applicants to pay their service charges at NADRA offices in cash or through secure online options such as JazzCash, Easypaisa, or E-Sahulat centres.
In addition, there is now an option to pay fees using the newly released QR code payment feature, where the applicant asks for a QR code authority, scans the code using their mobile banking app, and makes the payment at the counter.
NADRA officials have confirmed that there are no extra charges for using the novel QR code payment option.
Additionally, NADRA is introducing these payment methods as part of its process to digitise its services and improve the overall experience for citizens.
With the implementation of online payments, applicants can save time, not have to return more than once, and have their applications processed more quickly.
Moreover, support is also available for those who need help. Citizens can call NADRA’s helpline at 1777 from any mobile network or use the Pak ID mobile app, which allows users to submit complaints, track applications, and access other ID-related services.
