Tamasha, Pakistan’s leading digital entertainment platform powered by Jazz, made history by reaching 25 million monthly active users (MAU) during the Asia Cup 2025. This is the largest number anyone has achieved for a local streaming app.

They reached that number on September 21, when ten million users logged on to watch the high-octane Pakistan–India match in the Asia Cup 2025 on Tamasha.

That achievement by Tamasha not only reflected the passion cricket fans shared throughout the country, but also consolidated Tamasha's position as the leading choice for live sports and entertainment.

“Crossing 25 million monthly active users is a proud moment not just for Tamasha but for Pakistan’s digital ecosystem as a whole," stated Jazz President Digital Platform Aamer Ejaz.

" This milestone validates the trust of our audiences and partners, and reinforces Tamasha’s role as a flag-bearer for digital viewership in Pakistan. From cricket to cinema, we continue to build experiences that bring people together, while creating strong value for advertisers."

Tamasha's rapid growth in user base has made it the partner of choice for Pakistan's top brands looking for strong returns on their investment in digital advertising.

The Asia Cup also marked a new step in Tamasha’s product innovation. Since its launch, Tamasha has become Pakistan’s most popular platform for live sports and premium entertainment, streaming global events like the ICC Champions Trophy, English Premier League, Wimbledon, and the Olympics.

The platform is now gearing up to stream the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 from September 30 to November 2, continuing its mission to celebrate sport and inspire audiences nationwide.
