If you know how to use an iPhone or iPad, it is quite easy to set up your HomePod by following these steps:

  1. To set up your HomePod, plug it into an outlet. Wait until you hear a chime and a white spinning light appears on the top.
  2. Hold your unlocked iPhone or iPad next to the HomePod. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and you have a strong WiFi connection.
  3. Tap ‘Set Up’ when it pops up on your device’s screen.
  4. Next, choose the room (living room, bathroom, bedroom) your HomePod is in.
  5. Follow the instructions appearing on your screen. You will be asked whether you want to set up two HomePods as a stereo pair or use personal requests.
  6. Centre the top of your HomePod in the circular frame on your screen. A circle will appear on your device’s screen. Position the top of your HomePod in the middle of that circle until you hear a tone.
  7. Wait while your HomePod is being set up. It might take a few minutes.
  8. Tap 'Done' when the setup process is complete.
  9. You will know your HomePod is set up when Siri greets you. Once Siri speaks, you can respond to it.

Finally, you can enjoy your favourite music to the fullest using your HomePod.
