Alrighty, so you're switching from an Android to an iPhone, and you want to get those contacts across, no problem! Here are three ways to make that happen:

How to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone

1. Apple's 'Move to iOS' App

This one's easy peasy. Download this application from the Google Play Store, give it the green light to do its thing, and it will shuffle your contacts, messages, and all that jazz over Wi-Fi. But remember, it's got to be when you are setting up your new iPhone, or you will need to hit the reset button.

2. The SIM Card Shuffle

If all you care about is contacts, and your SIM cards are the same size, this is your jam. Export contacts from your Android's Contacts app to the SIM card, pop that SIM into your iPhone, and voilà! Hit "Import SIM Contacts" in your iPhone's settings, and you are in business.

3. Google to rescue

Got your contacts backed up to Google? Great! On your Android, make sure they are cosy in your Google account. Then, on your iPhone, add your Google account in the Contacts settings, and let the magic happen. No need to erase anything here.

And if Google is not your cup of tea, there are other cloud services or apps like Outlook, iCloud, or Dropbox that can do the contact syncing dance. Just follow their lead.
