
The Chinese tech giant Huawei released its MatePad SE 11, its new iPad, on May 9 worldwide. The tablet is confirmed to be a substitute for the MatePad SE launched in 2022.
The new MatePad SE 11 hauls updates over the older model in both aspects, to feature an 11-inch full-HD+screen and a greater 7,700mAh battery. Moreover, it carries M-Pen lite stylus support.
There’s no official price revealed for the Huawei MatePad SE 11. The older model MatePad SE was available at CNY 1,499 (approximately INR 17,300) for the Wi-Fi-only option with 4GB RAM with 128GB storage space.
Huawei MatePad SE 11 specifications
Huawei MatePad SE 11 features an 11-inch full-HD+ LCD screen with a pixel density of 207ppi (pixel-per-inch). Moreover, the panel is confirmed to include a peak brightness of 400 nits, 100% sRGB coverage, and a new eBook mode for readers.

It carries an M-Pen lite stylus with features like multi-screen collaboration and multi-window.
In addition, it supports Kids Corner which is claimed to feature child-friendly specifications involving a blue-light filter, poster alerts, eBook mode, and much more. Its dimensions are measured as 252.3x163.8x6.9mm and weighs 475g.
The MatePad SE 11 is available in two colours: Crystal Blue and Nebula Gray. However, the company did not unveil the processor details. The tablet is apparently to be featured with a Kirin 710A or a Snapdragon 680 chipset.
The SoC is paired with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage space. The MatePad SE 11 runs on HarmonyOS 2.0.
The tablet supports an 8MP rear camera with 1080p video-recording capacity and a 5MP front camera. The tablet houses a 7,700mAh battery supporting 22.5W fast charging through USB Type-C.
Additional specifications of Huawei MatePad SE 11 involve a quad-speaker setup, Bluetooth 5.1 and BLE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and OTG support.
