A new leak surfaced on the internet indicating that Huawei is likely to release another dual-layer OLED tablet this year. The company has recently launched its first dual-layer OLED tablet, MatePad Pro 12.2.

However, it appears as if there are more such durable devices in the lineup. According to the Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu, different brands are working on high-performance flagship tablets this year, such as Xiaomi, Honor, and Huawei.

Moreover, all of these tablets are said to house a dual-layer OLED panel for dynamic visual effects. This display solution is quite in trend and may continue to be integrated into the upcoming tablets, offering a reliable screen experience.

Dual-layer OLED utilises two light-emitting layers that double the brightness on the screen. These layers are on top of each other which helps in creating the display brighter. Additionally, the solution greatly reduces the power consumption of the device.

However, Apple was the first to introduce this iconic display solution with the iPad Pro 2024 model. Now other brands are continuing this trend with their upcoming devices.

Honor has already featured the dual-layer OLED (the first in China) on the Magic 6 Ultimate handset.
