Hyundai is reportedly planning to relaunch the 6th-generation Elantra hybrid with a 2.0-litre petrol engine in Pakistan, giving competition to Toyota and Honda.
According to the PakWheels report, the company is preparing to reintroduce the older 6th-gen model to its lineup for sale.
The 6th-generation Elantra was previously sold in the Pakistani market with the 2.0-litre ICE. However, on October 25, 2024, Hyundai launched the 7th-generation Elantra with a hybrid powertrain and discontinued the earlier 6th-generation model locally.
