In a big move to expedite the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) across Pakistan, inDrive and Yousuf Dewan Companies (YDC) have teamed up to bring Honri EVs to Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
Primarily focusing on four-wheel EVs in the ride-hailing landscape, the initiative will facilitate the general public with environment-friendly mobility.
Free inDrive rides during Ramadan in Honri EVs
A stepping stone for this programme is set to be laid through a joint campaign by both parties during the festive season.
This campaign is designed to offer passengers free rides exclusively in Honri EVs, reflecting inDrive and YDC's commitment to introducing sustainable transport options while serving a greater cause in this holy month.
With the backing of the country's first four-wheel EV manufacturer Honri, the collaboration marks a notable step in Pakistan's efforts to attain wider availability and accessibility of EVs.
EVs for the general public's ride-hailing needs will play a vital role in minimising reliance on typical transport which is mostly powered by fossil fuels.
After the month of Ramadan is passed, the initiative will be expanded to provide drivers with the opportunity to rent out Honri EVs through fleet partners, which will enable them to significantly cut their costs and multiply earnings while playing their part in favour of cleaner energy solutions.
