iOS 18 to inform when using slow iPhone charger
With iOS 18, a notification would pop up in the iPhone’s battery settings alerting users about the potential slow charging status.
When an iPhone is actively being charged with a slow charger, the battery level graph that has been updated with an orange colour would indicate the use of a slow charger.
Additionally, in the Settings app for iOS 18, iPhone users will see several options for setting a charging limit in the “Charging” section of the menu.
Previously, the tech giant allowed an 80% charge limit, but it has now added more options to set charge limits of 85%, 90%, and 95%.
Apple is also integrating 45W fast charging via USB-C port in the iPhone 16 series, marking an improvement over the previous models. These devices can charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes.
