The long-rumoured iPhone SE 4 with Apple’s in-house 5G modem is expected to launch on February 11, alongside Apple’s PowerBeats Pro headphones.

According to Bloomberg, the upcoming announcement is expected to be relatively modest as the company has not sent out invitations for either a physical or online event, suggesting a more subdued unveiling.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be a hit outside of the US, specifically in China and India, currently ranked as the world’s first and second-biggest smartphone markets, respectively.

iPhone SE 4 specifications

Apple’s fourth-generation budget-friendly handset will likely sport a 6.1-inch display, up from 4.7 inches available on its predecessor. It is also expected to feature an OLED display panel for the first time.

The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to include a USB-C port, ditching the Lightning port. It will feature Face ID replacing the Touch ID Home button in earlier models.

Moreover, to support Apple Intelligence features, the iPhone SE 4 will boast 8GB RAM and an enhanced A18 chipset same as the one integrated into the iPhone 16 lineup.

The handset will feature Apple's first in-house 5G modem. With these upgraded features, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to carry a sub-$500 price tag. Notably, the iPhone SE 3 was priced at $429.

PowerBeats Pro 2 headphones

Alongside the iPhone SE 4, Apple is expected to unveil the PowerBeats Pro 2 this week. This marks a six-year gap since the launch of Beats-branded first-generation headphones.

These headphones are expected to be the first Apple-branded headphones with built-in heart rate tracking.
