NexGen Auto has officially revised the price for the Jaecoo J7 PHEV, effective December 1, making it easy for customers to own the popular SUV in Pakistan.
The company stated that with an increase of Rs500,000, the new price becomes Rs10,499,000. The Jaecoo J7 PHEV entered the Pakistani market as a locally assembled mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV offered in two trims: Comfort and Premium.
Jaecoo J7 PHEV features
Both variants feature the same hybrid powertrain but differ in interior features and safety equipment. The J7 PHEV is powered by a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine delivering 342 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque.
The Jaecoo J7 PHEV comes with an 18.3 kWh battery, which gives up to 90 kilometres of pure electric range under Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) standards.
It uses a dedicated hybrid transmission, accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 8.5 seconds, with a combined fuel average of roughly 16.6 kilometres per litre.
Locally assembled and competitively priced, the Jaecoo J7 aims to rival the well-known Haval H6 PHEV, which entered the market just two months ago.
