Capital Smart Motors (CSM) on Saturday launched its new JMEV Elight, a premium all-electric sedan that adds significant momentum to Pakistan’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) market.
According to the company, the JMEV Elight is positioned as an affordable yet high-performance EV, offering an impressive combination of range, design, and smart features.
JMEV Elight features
The JMEV Elight features a 56.3 kWh battery paired with a 165 kW electric motor, delivering strong acceleration and a smooth driving experience.
The EV boasts a driving range of up to 500 kilometres on a single charge, making it one of the longest-range electric sedans available in Pakistan.
The company has featured three driving modes, Eco, Normal, and Sport, aiming to provide optimal performance across city commutes and highway drives.
Inside, the Elight offers a 14.6-inch multimedia touchscreen, serving as the centrepiece of a clean, futuristic interior. The digital interface provides easy access to navigation, entertainment, and vehicle controls.
Charging flexibility is one of Elight’s strongest features. Using an AC charger (7 kW), the vehicle can achieve a full charge in around 10 hours, ideal for overnight home charging.

The JMEV Elight is available in two variants — Elight Comfort priced at Rs8,499,000 and Elight Premium priced at Rs9,999,000 — in Pakistan, designed to appeal to tech-savvy drivers looking for a practical, efficient, and sustainable mobility solution.
