
Kia Pakistan has released a teaser for the most awaited 5th generation Sportage on social media, hinting at the bold design of the SUV, and sparking excitement among fans.
The teaser comes after months of speculation and sightings of vehicles in the testing phase cruising the streets. Although Kia Pakistan hasn't confirmed an official launch date for its upcoming SUV, industry insiders suggested that it could debut by the end of this month, stirring hysteria among KIA enthusiasts.

The teaser offered a limited glimpse of the 5th generation Sportage, suggesting a more modern design than the previous iteration. Key exterior features include a prominent front grille, sleek headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), and the signature KIA badge, indicating a dynamic look.

Kia Pakistan is expected to offer multiple variants, including petrol and hybrid options.
However, the petrol variant of the new Kia Sportage in global markets features fabric upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 6-speaker audio system, and a 2.0L engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission (FWD), offering an estimated fuel economy of 13 km/l.
The hybrid variant, on the other hand, comes with leatherette upholstery, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. It is powered by a 1.6L Turbo Hybrid engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission (FWD) and boasts an estimated fuel economy of 18 km/l.

Both variants of the 5th generation of Kia Sportage are expected to include advanced safety features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Driver Attention Alert.
The hybrid variant may offer extra safety features like Rear Cross Traffic Collision Assist, a Surround View Monitor, Parking collision avoidance Assist, and front and rear parking sensors.
