Kuwait has officially launched a new digital platform called Visit Kuwait, designed to make e-visa applications faster and easier for travellers worldwide.

According to official reports, the fully operational platform now serves as a single online gateway for four visa types: tourist, family, business, and official.

This aims to ease travel processes and motivate visitors to discover Kuwait's cultural, recreational and heritage attractions.

The Visit Kuwait website permits visitors to apply for a visa that is applicable for three months, which will allow for an immersion into Kuwait's primary offerings.

This is an opportunity for residents to use the platform to invite family members via a family visa, which allows a 30-day stay, along with business visas for representatives of foreign companies attending events or meetings, while the official visa is permitted for government delegations and diplomats only.

Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, stated that Visit Kuwait is the single digital access point for travel and tourism.

Not just e-visa services, the platform offers guides for cultural events, entertainment options, and heritage sites.

First launched in August and still in full operation, the portal offers a service that takes the hassle out of travel for both tourists and residents.
