Latest petrol price in Pakistan from November 1

Petrol prices in Pakistan increases by Rs2.43 per litre, and high-speed diesel by Rs3.02 per litre

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government on Friday announced an increase in the petroleum products for the next fortnight.

A press release from the Finance Division said the price of petrol is now Rs265.45 per litre, increasing by Rs2.43 per litre, and high-speed diesel now costs Rs278.44 per litre, hiked by Rs3.02 per litre.

It should be noted that the revised prices  —  effective November 1 — are set following with consultation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and the relevant ministries.

The increased price of petroleum products directly contributes to the rising prices of commute fares, vegetables, and other essential food items. Increasing prices will impact the budgets of middle-and lower-middle-class households.
