easypaisa Digital Bank reported a profit before tax of Rs5.65 billion for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2025, representing a 45.6% increase over Rs3.88 billion during the same period in 2024.
The company reported strong financial performance primarily due to a significant increase in customer deposits, increased fee-based income, and strong cost management.
The bank’s net markup income noted an increase of 8.46%, supported by digital lending growth and low-cost deposits.
In addition to this, easypaisa’s non-markup revenue boomed by 44.62%, supported by additional transaction volume in payment services, commissions from disbursements, and insurance services.
Operating expenses grew by only 5.92% as the Bank continues to invest in technology, talent, and customer acquisition. Moreover, the cost-to-income ratio dropped to 69.91% from 80.31% in the same period last year, resulting in an efficiency improvement.
Customer deposits increased to Rs109.6 billion; a year-on-year increase of 61.88% was recorded, which indicates growing customer confidence following easypaisa's transition to a digital retail banking model.
Total Advances stood at Rs26.14 billion with a loan-to-deposit ratio of 21.54%. Its equity increased to Rs18.35 billion, and its capital adequacy ratio (CAR) has remained strong at 23.16%, maintaining levels above the regulatory minimum.
easypaisa Digital Bank President and CEO Jahanzeb Khan said that the results reflect the trust of customers and stakeholders in the bank’s vision to democratise digital financial services across Pakistan.
