At IFA 2025, Lenovo unveiled its latest Legion Go 8.8 gaming handheld, alongside two new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Android tablets, marking a big step for gamers and creators alike.
The Legion Go 8.8 is a Windows-based handheld gaming device designed for high-performance play on the go, similar in style to a Nintendo Switch but packed with PC-level power.
Lenovo Legion Go 8.8 handheld features
The new second-generation handheld device comes with an 8.8-inch, 144 Hz OLED display and is driven by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor. Lenovo has increased the capacity of the battery to 74 Whr, about 50% higher than the first-generation model.
Lenovo has made the new detachable controllers more ergonomically friendly with three programmable buttons. Players can still use these new controllers with the first-generation Legion Go. The price for the Legion Go is $1,049 for US market and is expected in October.
Lenovo Yoga Tab features
Along with the Legion Go 8.8, Lenovo announced a Yoga Tab with a Yoga Pen, featuring an 11.1-inch, 144 Hz display, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The tablet comes with advanced AI functions such as Circle to Search, Gemini, SuperRes, Smart AI Input, AI Live Transcript, and Sketch-to-Image that will create efficiencies in the users' productivity and workflow. The Yoga Tab price is $549.
Lenovo Idea Tab Plus features
Lenovo announced the Idea Tab Plus, which features a 12.1-inch display and a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, as well as AI capabilities from Google and Lenovo. This tablet is designed for students and business professionals, launching at $269 in October.
