Lenovo, a Chinese tech giant, released its new Tab, Lenovo Legion Tab in India today on August 13. The Lenovo Legion Tab was unveiled in select worldwide markets in March.

The Lenovo Legion Tab is available in India at INR 39,999 for 12GB RAM with 25GB storage. The Tab is set to go on sale from August 15 through India's Lenovo official site, Flipkart, and other retailers. Moreover, the Flipkart started accepting pre-orders for the tablet in July.

Version

The Legion Tab version runs on Android 13 and boasts an 8.8-inch QHD+ (1,600x 2,560 pixels) screen with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 98% coverage of DCI-P3 colour gamut, 500nits peak brightness, and 16:10 aspect ratio.

Display and chipset

The display is based on Lenovo's PureSight gaming display technology, is announced to deliver 343ppi pixel density and has TUV full care 2.0 certification. The Lenovo Legion Tab runs on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The onboard storage can be extended up to 1TB using a microSD card.

Camera

The Lenovo Legion Tab has a setup of dual rear camera unit, having a 13MP primary sensor with digital zoom and a 2MP macro shooter. For the selfie camera, the Lenovo tablet has an 8MP sensor.

Battery

The Lenovo Legion Tab boasts a 6,550mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging support. It has offered three performance modes — Beast Mode, Balanced Mode and Energy Saving Mode. The battery unit is said to deliver up to 12 hours of playback time on a single charge.

Weight and colour

The Lenovo Legion Tab measures 7.6mm thick and weighs 350 grams. It is offered in a single colourway, Storm Grey.

Additional features

Connectivity options on the Lenovo Legion Tab integrate WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. It has a DisplayPort 1.4 for connecting to compatible external displays. The tablet has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
