
MG Motors Pakistan is set to introduce the CKD variant of MG HS Plug-in Hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), marking its entry into the growing electric vehicle market in the country.
As part of MG’s popular HS lineup, the locally assembled MG HS PHEV is set to launch at the highly-anticipated Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) which is scheduled to be held in Lahore from October 25-27.
Offering a fusion of electric and hybrid capabilities, this facelift version of the current MG HS model comes as an exciting development for auto enthusiasts in Pakistan.

While MG Motors Pakistan has yet to reveal further details of the upcoming EV, here are the international features of the automobile.
MG HS Plug-in Hybrid EV features
The MG HS PHEV boasts a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and generates 160 hp at 5500 RPM and 250 Nm of torque at 4300 RPM.
The MG HS PHEV features a length of 4574 mm, a width of 1876 mm, and a height of 1685 mm. It has a wheelbase of 2720 mm and offers 448 litres of trunk space which can be further expanded to 1375 litres.
The MG HS, with a claimed fuel economy of up to 58 kilometers per liter, is expected to boost the market share of New Energy Vehicles (NEV), which already hold approximately 50% in the mid-SUV segment
It is backed by a 16.6 kWh battery and offers a pure electric range of 52 km, making MG HS PHEV the best option for eco-friendly drivers.
