Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) is poised to transform Pakistan's automotive sector by the introduction of the Deepal S05, a high-end C-segment SUV with a range-extended hybrid electric vehicle (REEV) drivetrain.

The vehicle, which is expected to be released in November 2025, promises to solve range anxiety and influence mobility in the future.

"This launch marks a defining moment for Pakistan's auto industry, we are not only addressing range anxiety but also shaping the future of mobility with an EV-first platform designed for our market," claims Master Changan CEO Danial Malik. With its combined driving range, the Deepal S05 can cover more than 1000 kilometres.

The S05 has the largest cabin space of any C-segment SUV in Pakistan and the longest wheelbase and widest body in its class thanks to its next-generation EV-first platform. It has won the coveted iF Design Award for its futuristic design, which was spearheaded by Klaus Zyciora.

With more than 65,000 vehicles on the road, MCML has quickly expanded to rank as Pakistan's #3 auto brand and top new entrant. By addressing issues with range anxiety and inadequate charging infrastructure, the Deepal S05 provides a workable long-distance driving solution.
