MG Pakistan has opened bookings for the MG U9, a new diesel pickup truck aimed at buyers looking for power, comfort, and modern tech features.
The U9 is designed as a heavy-duty lifestyle and commercial vehicle, entering a segment dominated by the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max.
MG U9 features
The MG U9 is powered by a 2.5-litre Turbo Diesel that makes 215 hp and 520 Nm of torque. Power delivery comes via a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, combined with a 4×4 system, front and rear differential locks, and 220 mm ground clearance.
The truck also features a 3,500 kg towing capacity, making it suitable for highway cruising, cargo hauling, and off-road use.
The larger dimensions of U9-at 5500 mm length, 2265 mm width, and 1874 mm height-reinforce its bold look, with 20-inch alloy wheels additionally boosting its street presence.
On the inside, MG concentrated on comfort, with the availability of heated and ventilated seats, powered adjustments, massage functions, and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with JBL audio and wireless smartphone connectivity.
On the safety front, it comes equipped with 7 airbags, an L2 ADAS suite, a 540-degree camera, driver attention monitoring, a panoramic sunroof, and an electric tailgate. All these features make it one of the most tech-loaded pickups in Pakistan.

The company has confirmed that pre-bookings are now open nationwide with a booking price of Rs8,000,000. The brand is targeting buyers who want both rugged performance and premium cabin features.
