The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Saturday inaugurated its very first Women Registration Centre (WRC) in Dera Ghazi Khan.

It is situated at the Mall of DG Khan, Garden Town, Multan Road, and is specially designed to facilitate women so that they can get registration services without any hassle in a very comfortable and secure environment.

Visitors can get the service for CNICs, family registration certificates, and child registration forms in a women-only facility handled by trained female staff.

The initiative is not just about providing identity cards but also about empowering women in financial, property, and political matters, too, according to Nadra officials.

“These documents symbolise a woman's independence and her right to be recognised as an active member of society,” said one Nadra official.

The establishment of this WRC shows Nadra's continued initiatives toward inclusiveness in every nook and corner of the country.

Similar centres will be inaugurated in other areas, ensuring that women from far-flung or conservative areas may obtain registration with dignity, privacy, and confidence.
