NADRA upgrades Pak-ID app to version 5.0.0, offers improved services

In a significant step towards enhancing the platform services, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has upgraded the Pak-ID mobile app to version 5.0.0, offering new facilities to citizens.

Following the launch of Version 5.0.0, authorities have urged citizens to download the updated app to get complete benefit of the advanced services.

NADRA noted that the PAK-ID mobile app version 5.0.0 contains the following advancements:

1. New splash design.
2. New design of dashboard with logo.
3. Intelligence "Search" facility on the dashboard.
4. Revamped flow of cancellation due to death.
5. Icons with Urdu/English.
6. Tracking facility through the Inbox.
7. Revamped the flow of Civil Registration Management System (CRMS) death registration with data fetching.

It is worth noting that the Pak-ID app provides an end-to-end solution for ID-related services.

Previously, NADRA started proceeding with a fast-track registration campaign to support flood-affected communities in Swat and Buner.

In the partnership with the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), NADRA arranged mobile teams to provide on-the-spot identity card services and enable urgent registration for relief eligibility.

By this initiative, displaced individuals can quickly access government help and social protection schemes.

On the other hand, NADRA announced updated National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) fees for Pakistani nationals living in Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. NICOP provides several benefits to overseas Pakistanis, such as visa-free entry to Pakistan, banking services, voting rights, and many more.
