Health and technology consulting companies Nordic and BeeKeeper AI have collaborated to encourage the use of clinical decision support systems (CDSS) in healthcare and aimed to optimise healthcare operations.

CDSS are certainly a great development in the fledgling field of artificial intelligence (AI) that helps medical professionals expedite the treatment of patients. Both companies have jointly introduced an incredible project known as “RightAI” that will link pharmaceutical companies, medical technologists, and the healthcare industry to develop and use these cutting-edge tools.

These tools help medical professionals to keep an electronic health record (EHR), and streamline their work while ensuring biosafety and patients health.

RightAI is a platform that will use real-world patient data to assist bio-pharmaceutical and medical companies in the development of these advanced tools.

Furthermore, the platform also finds out the potential candidates to perform clinical trials by searching a wide amount of patient data and medical records, as AI is already creating strides in every field from patient care to finance, retails, and more.

BeeKeeperAI CEO Michael Blum said: “Together with Nordic, BeeKeeperAI’s privacy-enhancing platform can address the last mile of AI/machine learning based CDSS: real-world deployment and ongoing monitoring for performance drift. The ability to develop and deploy solutions in real-world settings enhances and accelerates the impact of CDSS.”

“Instead of taking years to achieve impact, RightAI will enable CDSS to impact patient outcomes in a matter of months from the start of development to impact. This acceleration will enable life-changing therapies to reach patients more quickly, fulfilling the promise of healthcare AI,” Blum added.

According to a report on GlobalData’s Medical Intelligence Centre, the global AI market was valued at $103bn in 2023 which is estimated to surpass 39% and reach $1tn by 2030.
