
Pakistan's rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) market has reached a major turning point with the launch of the Omoda E5 and Jaecoo J6.
With the goal of forging a solid foothold in Pakistan's quickly expanding EV market, Chery International has partnered with Hyundai Nishat's NextGen Auto to produce these vehicles.

Omoda E5 specs and prices
The Omoda E5 has remarkable dimensions: it is 4,424 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, and 1,588 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,630 mm.
This electric SUV has a sunroof, power-folding heated mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, and an extensive LED lighting system.
The Omoda E5 generates 204 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque thanks to a 150 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor.
The car can travel up to 430 km on the WLTP cycle or 505 km on the NEDC cycle on a single charge thanks to its 61 kWh LiFePO₄ battery.
Reservations for the Omoda E5, which has a price tag of Rs8,990,000, are currently being accepted for Rs1,700,000. Delivery is anticipated by customers in about two and a half months.
Jaecoo J6 specs and prices
Another noteworthy addition to Pakistan's EV market is the Jaecoo J6, which has a wheelbase of 2,715 mm and dimensions of 4,406 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,715 mm in height.
This model has a panoramic sunroof, LED daytime running lights, and matrix adaptive headlights. The Jaecoo J6 has a range of up to 462 km and comes with three different battery options: 49.9 kWh, 65.6 kWh, and 69.7 kWh.

The rear-wheel drive (RWD) 49.9 kWh model costs Rs8,799,000.
The RWD 65.6 kWh version costs Rs9,899,000, while the all-wheel drive (AWD) 69.7 kWh version costs Rs10,799,000.
Omoda E5 and Jaecoo J6 safety features
Additionally, advanced safety features like six airbags, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assist system (BAS), electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), and a 360° surround-view monitor are standard on both the Omoda E5 and Jaecoo J6.
