The OnePlus 12 was recently launched in India, as well as globally, along with the OnePlus 12R. While the flagship model debuted in China in December 2023, it is now available in India and has received its first software update, bringing new features and system improvements.
OnePlus 12 specifications
Running on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14, the OnePlus 12 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and boasts a 5,400mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging support. The Indian variant's initial software update, labelled with firmware version CPH2573_14.0.0.404(EX01), has a size of 6.48GB.
Coming in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black colour options, it is equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The phone features a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixels) LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The device is backed by a 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired SuperVOOC charging, as well as 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.

OnePlus 12 Master Mode feature
Among the notable additions is the introduction of the OnePlus Master Mode feature, incorporating Hasselblad colour tuning for accurate skin tones and natural-looking colours in photos. This mode also enables users to capture images in RAW format and provides manual adjustments for ISO, shutter speed, white balance, focus, etc.
OnePlus 12 camera
The OnePlus 12 features a Hasselblad-tuned camera system, comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 48MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is equipped with a 32MP sensor.
Additionally, the software update introduces the ProXDR feature for Google Photos on the OnePlus 12, claiming to enhance system stability and the success rate of fingerprint unlocking. Improvements in WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth stability and compatibility are also highlighted. Users can access the update in the "About Device" section within Settings.

The OnePlus 12 is priced at INR 64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option, while the 16GB + 512GB variant is available at INR 69,999.
