OpenAI is reportedly planning to release its new advanced AI model called “Strawberry” which will perform high-level tasks beyond the capabilities of current AI models.

A report by The Information revealed that the new model will be capable of solving math problems even without prior exposure to specific training data, completing strategic tasks, solving complex word puzzles and doing in-depth research.

According to the report, the new AI model is designed to handle some of the current limitations of today's AI models. While traditional AI models dominate the field today, they aren’t capable of performing tasks requiring symbolic reasoning or context-sensitive solving.

The advanced reasoning on Strawberry could potentially create synthetic data of high quality, crucial to reducing the error frequency in tasks.

However, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman confirmed the report by posting images of strawberries, hinting towards the potential launch of the model.

Moreover, Strawberry will possibly be included in OpenAI’s most advanced chatbot, ChatGPT-4o. It will help the company to develop its next large language model (LLM) called "Orion."

This AI model is set to be released this fall. This launch will be something the entire tech community has been anticipating.
