WhatsApp today on October 16 grappled with an outage in Pakistan, users engaged on the app experienced disruption in downloading images, voice notes, and more.

Various users in Pakistan began reporting difficulties in downloading media files, such as voice notes, photos, and videos, on the Meta-owned platform while using their mobile networks.

DownDetector reported an outage by collecting reports from users. Almost 26% users reported complaints in sending voice messages, while 26% struggled in sending messages while 47% users mentioned experiencing server connectivity issues.
