Pakistan Railways has launched a new mobile app called Track My Train to help passengers get real-time updates on train locations, delays, and schedules.

The app, developed by Mango Tech Solutions, replaces the older Pakistan Railway Tracking System and promises a much smoother and user-friendly experience for travellers.

Pakistan Railway's ‘Track My Train’ app features

Track My Train allows users to track trains across the railway network, view live arrival and departure times, and check for delays. The application also gives route details, including all the stops along the way, and shows passengers both estimated and actual timings, so they know when to expect their trains.

The application has been available since June 18, 2025, and can be downloaded for free on both Android and iOS from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Moreover, this app is in English and Urdu to reach most of the people in Pakistan (it does not currently support any of the local languages).

Track My Train has achieved over 100,000 downloads on Android only and will attract people eager to engage in a better, digital train service. Track My Train is not endorsed in any way by Pakistan Railways but does use public data, like GPS locations and live train timetables, to display their movements.

The developers, Mango Tech, have also said that while user data is encrypted, the application does collect device identifiers and may share data with third parties.

For now, Track My Train is free with all features and is useful for anyone who relies on the train system either for a daily commute or for travelling long distances.
