Are you on a quest to find out the best, top-rated ride-hailing service on the Google Play Store in Pakistan? inDrive it is, yes.
The widely popular cab-booking service has topped the charts on the Play Store, Google's app marketplace for Android devices.
The service has emerged as the top-ranked app in Pakistan’s Maps & Navigation category, ProPakistani reported, citing the latest rankings data on the Google Play Store.
Moreover, inDrive has also secured the first position in the Travel category on Apple’s App Store. The development suggests inDrive's consistently widening foothold in Pakistan's evolving mobility landscape, given a sudden shift in users' expectations from such services.
inDrive was launched in 2021 in Pakistan, and it has expanded to over 20 cities as of now, employing a peer-to-peer pricing model, giving both riders and drivers the margin to easily negotiate fares.
This remarkable approach sets inDrive apart from the treasure trove of similar platforms, most of which rely on surge-based algorithms.
“Our model resonates because it puts people first – they decide the price, not an algorithm,” stated inDrive Country Manager for Pakistan Awais Saeed.
He noted that inDrive’s growth has mostly been organic, driven by local adoption and a commitment to operating in underserved areas.
It's worth noting that inDrive has a truckload of offerings beyond ride-hailing, including courier, freight delivery, city-to-city travel, and B2B solutions.
Globally, it has ranked as the second-most downloaded ride-hailing app for the third consecutive year and fifth in the global travel app category.
