Planet Coaster is going beyond and over with its sequel launching this fall. The game is now far more than just about building the best theme park, it’s also about making the slipperiest one.
The new iteration will let users create the water park of their imagination: lazy rivers, wave pools and custom-built water slides are some goodies users will be treated to.
Planet Coaster 2 features
Among the added pieces of content are, changing rooms, sunbeds, lifeguards, and event sequencing, besides new design tools.
Planet Coaster 2 seeks to build on the already expansive experience its predecessor managed to produce, it's trying to add a new element of surprise and make something to look forward to.

A particularly exciting feature is the ability to create shared theme parks, that is, friends will be able to share a space and cultivate it into their own.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean simultaneous activity, the developer says users can “jump one-at-a-time” into a shared park and then “save your progress to allow your fellow thrill-seekers to build upon your changes,” which is a bit of a bummer.
Similar to its first edition, the sequel will also feature three game modes: Career, Sandbox and Challenge. Upon launch, the title will be available on the Xbox series X/S and the PlayStation 5.
For those who haven’t tried Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, or even Jurassic World Evolution 2 from Frontier Developments yet, they're highly recommended.
