Reddit, one of the world’s most popular online community platforms, is currently down globally. The outage hit the users on Tuesday, due to which the website and app are not loading, leaving millions unable to access discussions, communities, and trending content.

Thousands of affected users took this issue to social media platform X to report that Reddit is not working. According to Downdetector, over 20,000 reports came from the United States, while other countries saw around 521 reports at peak.

According to the outage monitoring platform, the app reported about 60% of issues on the app, 33% on the website, and 8% for issues connected to servers.

Reddit, in its status update, confirmed the problem. “The issue has been identified, and a fix is being implemented,” the company said. The status page later noted, “A fix has been implemented, and we are monitoring the results.”

Users are still reporting issues in some regions, and Reddit continues to monitor the platform for any further errors.

The site outage generated some frustration among social media users around the world, with posts and screenshots reporting issues with logging on and being unable to view communities shared on X (formerly Twitter).
