
Samsung has launched a new variant of its Galaxy A15 5G smartphone in India, featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This variant comes several months after the initial launch of the device.
The Galaxy A15 5G was initially offered in configurations of 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, the phone is supported by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging capability.

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is a dual-SIM smartphone running on Android 13-based One UI 5. It will get up to five years of security updates and four years of OS upgrades, according to Gadgets360. The device is sporting a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter, along with a 13-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Various sensors such as accelerometers, gyro sensors, geomagnetic sensors, light sensors, and virtual proximity sensors are included, along with a fingerprint sensor for authentication.

With a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging, the Galaxy A15 5G promises up to 21 hours of video playback time on a single charge. Measuring 160.1x76.8x8.4mm and weighing 200 grams, it offers a comprehensive set of features within a sleek design.

The newly launched 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Galaxy A15 5G is priced at INR 17,999 in India. Customers can avail of a bank-based discount of INR 1,500, bringing the effective price down to INR 16,499.
Meanwhile, the existing variants, featuring 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage, have been available in India since the phone's debut in December last year, priced at INR 19,499 and INR 22,499, respectively. It can be purchased through retail stores, Samsung's official website, and various online platforms.
