Samsung recently launched the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE in India a couple of weeks back as a budget-friendly flagship. While the handset is still shipping to its customers globally, the tech giant has started rolling out its first software update.

The software update carries the September 2024 security patch, a firmware version S721BXXS2AXI5, and is currently arriving in European and African countries with 67 security vulnerabilities, bug fixes, and performance upgrades.

Samsung has introduced several improvements with the Galaxy S24 FE compared to its predecessor Galaxy S23 FE. The handset runs on Android 14 user interface (UI) 6.1 and sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) and Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE features a triple rear camera unit, having a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom with OIS, and a 12MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens.

Galaxy AI features

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE includes Galaxy AI features, including the Google-backed Circle to Search, Live Translate, Note Assist, and Interpreter mode.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE supports a 4,700mAh battery and 25W wired charging support.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is available in three colour variants, such as Blue, Graphite, and Mint.
