Samsung launches Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7

Samsung has officially launched its new foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, boasting cutting-edge features and sleek designs, alongside upgraded AI capabilities to provide users with an improved experience.

The South Korean-based tech giant featured a 200MP main camera on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, providing photographers and videographers with a more enhanced camera experience.

With enhanced cameras, improved battery life, and powerful processors, these devices are set to transform the smartphone industry.

Samsung unveils its first Flip FE smartphone

During the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 livestream, Samsung unveiled the Fan Edition (FE) version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Similar to its other FE devices, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is cheaper than the flagship model.

The Flip 7 FE features a similar design to the Flip 6, featuring a 3.4-inch cover display that borders the camera bar rather than extending beyond it, along with a 6.7-inch inner screen.

The Flip FE smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 4,000 mAh battery, and a rear camera setup.

Samsung rolls out Android 16

Samsung has released Android 16 early ahead of the decided launch date, which means the new Galaxy tri-fold phones will ship with the latest OS out of the box.

Samsung increases the storage of the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Samsung also revealed its second-gen Galaxy Watch Ultra, which comes with many of the same features as its predecessor but with 64GB of storage instead of 32GB.

Notably, the company said that it will support the latest One UI 8 features, including the ability to measure antioxidant levels, suggest ideal bedtimes, and a running coach for “motivation and real-time guidance.”

Galaxy Watch 8 Series launched

In the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung officially launched its new "Galaxy Watch 8 Series," with advanced health tracking features, sleek design, and seamless integration with other Samsung devices.

The Galaxy Watch 8 makes its debut, and among the new features are a Running Coach tool to help you train and deliver real-time coaching.

Moreover, another new feature of the Galaxy Watch measures Vascular Load as you sleep and gives you advice on developing heart-healthy habits.

Notably, the Galaxy Watch 8 will have Gemini on board, which means that users don't need to pair their smartwatch with a phone, while they need a Wi-Fi or LTE connection to access the assistant.

It is worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event showcased the company's commitment to innovation and user experience.

With the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Watch 8 series, Samsung has once again pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the world of smartphones and wearables.
