In a bid to toughen its footprint and advance its network technology in Pakistan's telecom industry, Pakistan’s well-known telecom operator Jazz has launched an innovative 480W Massive MIMO solution.
It is believed that this cutting-edge technology would multiply Jazz's network capacity and enhance user experience, and will eventually raise the bar for digital connectivity in Pakistan.
After a thorough assessment of the 480W platform, Jazz secured surprising results, gaining a total of 340% performance surge, with 190% boost coming in traffic handling and a 150% improvement in throughput.
Extending signal reach and enhancing performance at the cell edge, this solution directly improves the user experience of the whole network.
Jazz Chief Technology Officer Khalid Shehzad stated: “With the introduction of the industry’s first 480W Massive MIMO solution, Jazz continues its tradition of innovation and customer focus, redefining connectivity in Pakistan.”
The rollout of the Massive MIMO, an advanced antenna tech, brings advanced capabilities like intelligent beam shaping, uplink optimisation, and full-antenna scheduling, ensuring better indoor coverage and a smoother experience during peak hours.
The 480W Massive MIMO is also compatible with 5G, meaning this would also allow for a smooth transition to next-generation services without requiring major hardware changes.
This remarkable milestone cements Jazz’s leadership in shaping Pakistan’s digital future, making its network resilient and prepared to support the country’s strides towards a fully connected, 5G-enabled economy.
