The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is anticipated to debut alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 later this year, succeeding the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 unveiled in July 2023.
While the company has not officially confirmed details about these foldable smartphones, leaks have surfaced online. Previous reports hinted at camera and display upgrades for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and a recent report suggests a larger battery compared to its predecessor.
Gadgets360, citing GalaxyClub reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 might feature a 4,000mAh battery, a notable improvement over the 3,700mAh battery in the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip battery
The report indicates that one of the tested batteries for the purported device has a rated capacity of 1,097mAh, and the other has a rated capacity of 2,790mAh, resulting in a combined rated capacity of 3,887mAh.
It is expected to be promoted with a typical battery capacity of 4,000mAh. Notably, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S24 is listed with a typical battery capacity of 4,000mAh, while having a rated capacity of 3,880mAh.

Earlier reports from the same source suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 could boast a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor, a significant upgrade from the dual 12-megapixel rear sensors found in the Galaxy Z Flip 5. No details about the front camera of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 have been revealed yet.

The upcoming clamshell is foldable from Samsung and is also rumoured to feature a larger display, potentially sporting a 3.9-inch cover screen, 0.5 inches larger than the 3.4-inch Super AMOLED outer panel on the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is currently priced at INR 99,999 in India for the 8GB + 256GB variant, with the 8GB + 512GB option available at INR 1,09,999. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes in Cream, Graphite, Mint, Lavender, and Yellow colour options.
