Since the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6 at Samsung's July 10 Unpacked event, all eyes are now on Samsung’s next launch schedules.

Recent leaks indicate that the South Korean tech giant might give its devices the biggest visual upgrade ever with One UI 7 Beta including some new icons and a few similar design updates.

According to Ice Universe, a famous Samsung leaker, Samsung is likely to unveil its One UI 7 beta programme by the end of July or early August if there are no last-minute development issues. Otherwise, the company might delay the release by a few weeks just as the release of One UI 6 Beta in 2023.

Samsung introduced a revamped Quick Settings panel with Android 14-based One UI 6. This year, rumours suggest the company is likely to bring even bigger changes in the upcoming flagship.

What’s new in One UI 7 Beta

Samsung Galaxy S24 series is set to be the first one to get Samsung’s Android 15 One UI 7 update. However, some selected mid-range phones such as Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35 and a few Galaxy M series phones might also get this update.

Building on Android 15

One UI 7.0 will likely do the core improvements of Android 15, including better performance, power efficiency, and privacy features.

Enhanced Customisation

It could refer to icon themes, lock screen shortcuts, or deeper control panel adjustments.

Improved Multitasking

With One UI 7, Samsung devices might get better split-screen functionality, app pairing enhancement and much more.

Devices and wearables

Samsung might focus on strengthening the connection between Galaxy devices and wearables like the Galaxy Watch offering seamless data transfer. The One UI 7 Beta will be available in seven countries, including the US.
