With the introduction of its Windows PCs equipped with Snapdragon X Elite, Microsoft has ignited a new battle of AI PCs backed by Copilot+.
While Microsoft's Surface products have been made available for pre-order, Samsung, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, Dell, and HP are the brands whose flagship devices are reportedly deep into production and will be out soon.
With Snapdragon X Elite's fresh launch last year as an efficient ARM-based chipset for Windows laptops a Snapdragon X Plus was also rolled out.
The reason they can easily beat the performance of ARM chips (previously offered on Windows) is that both the chips are primarily designed with the AI focus in mind. Microsoft claims that the Snapdragon X Elite will serve as a performance catalysts while being more powerful than Apple's latest M3-powered MacBook Air.
Here's the rundown of which and when a manufacturer will release its laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite or Plus as well as how their costs.
