However, many players have criticized the controller’s battery life, as long gaming sessions often require recharging. Sony is exploring the use of “photovoltaic elements” within the controller’s design, allowing it to charge using solar energy. This would enable players to power up their controllers using sunlight, reducing the need to connect them to a charger.
