The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G is confirmed to debut later this month, succeeding the Tecno Pova 5 Pro 5G. Although the company initially only revealed the launch timeline but didn’t give any further details. However, the smartphone is spotted on certification sites which have shed light on some key specifications.
Gadgets360, citing MySmartPrice, reported that the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G, listed under the model number TECNO-LI9 on the FCC database, was also spotted on the Google Play Console previously.
The FCC listing showcases a design featuring dual rear cameras and an LED flash housed within a large, trapezoid camera module at the top left corner of the back panel, with volume rockers and the power button on the handset's right edge.
The listing suggests the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G may boast up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and support 70W wired fast charging. The Google Play Console listing further hints at an octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A76 cores clocking at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, paired with a Mali G57 GPU.

Although the exact SoC wasn't specified, the core clusters and frequencies indicate it could be the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+. Additionally, the phone is expected to ship with Android 14-based UI.
Tecno previously announced that the Pova 6 Pro 5G would be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona between February 26 and February 29, marking the brand's first model to feature Dolby Atmos spatial sound support.
The Tecno Pova 5 Pro 5G, launched in India in August 2023, features a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging. It runs on Android 13-based HiOS 13.1 out-of-the-box and sports a 6.78-inch full-HD+ 120Hz display.
For photography, it sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an unspecified secondary AI-backed sensor, along with a 16-megapixel front camera. At launch, it was available in Dark Illusion and Silver Fantasy shades, priced at INR 14,999 and INR 15,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, respectively.
