The price of Tesla's Model 3 rear-wheel drive model in China has been lowered by 3.7% to 259,500 yuan ($36,278.99).

Maintaining Tesla's competitive advantage in the quickly changing electric vehicle market is the goal of this calculated move.

The Model 3 long-range rear-wheel drive variant is well known for its remarkable acceleration capabilities, reaching 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, and its remarkable 830 km range on a single charge.

Tesla is making the price reduction as part of its efforts to maintain its competitiveness in China's electric vehicle (EV) market, where it is up against fierce competition from both new and established firms.

The Model 3's starting price is still 235,500 yuan, even with the price reduction, while the more expensive models' prices stay the same.

In addition to launching the new Model 3 variant in China, Tesla also unveiled the Model Y L, a 6-seater SUV that costs 339,000 yuan.

The Model Y L's sophisticated three-motor system is still a powerful selling point, despite criticism of its comfort and space performance.

Tesla hopes to maintain its competitiveness and increase its market share in China's EV market by implementing these mindful strategies.
