But Elon Musk seems to be a guy made not for the backseat, as he's been eyeing to snatch the crown back from BYD with an extravaganza Tesla Robotaxi event slated to kick-start on October 10, the coming Thursday. Tesla's "We, Robot" event will begin on ‘We, Robot’ event at 5pm PT, with remarks said to be pronounced at 7pm PT.
Regarding what will grab headlines and spotlights at the event, it's highly expected that the EV maker might pull the curtain off the much-hyped Robotaxi vehicle at Warner Bros. Discovery’s movie studio in Burbank, California.
How to watch Tesla Robotaxi event?
Keeping up its traditional legacy, Tesla is expected to livestream the “We, Robot” event on its official YouTube page as well as on the Musk-owned microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter).
The “We, Robot” event was previously announced in April to be held on August 8, but Tesla downplayed the schedule owing to “an important design change to the front.”
Citing Gene Munster, the renowned Tesla analyst from Deepwater, Teslarati reported that Tesla Model 2, Cybervan, and Cybercab (OR Robotaxi) are on the horizon of launching at the Robotaxi event.
The analysts predicted that the aforesaid Model 2 will be a stripped-down form of the existing Model 3, because of the event date dragged by Elon Musk to make “important changes“ to the cybercab vehicle.
