Toyota Fortuner GR-S and Revo GR-S: Top off-road SUVs in Pakistan

Pakistan's pickup scene has grown abundant with numerous options over the past couple of years, but Toyota's Fortuner GR-S and Revo GR-S have established themselves as distinguished performance-oriented vehicles designed for off-road capability In Pakistan's SUV and pickup market.

The two Toyota SUV beasts have been built on Toyota's IMV platform, out of which the Fortuner GR-S offers a robust body-on-frame construction, which can suit diverse driving conditions ranging from urban environments to rugged mountain trails.

What makes them more nationally relevant and preferred is that both of these models are assembled locally by Toyota Pakistan, feature a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) for better visibility in tight spaces and challenging terrains.

The Fortuner GR-S comes with advanced safety features, with the best including a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

Coming to their connectivity properties, their belt of all Revo variants now fastens a 9-inch high-definition infotainment display. Both models also support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a fast-charging USB port.

It must be noted that both the off-road beasts, Fortuner and Revo GR-S, are tuned by Toyota Gazoo Racing (GR), with their performances complemented by monotube shock absorbers and refined suspension for improved stability and grip. 

Built on a 4x4 system, there's no doubt in saying that these vehicles are designed for adventure enthusiasts.

What further solidifies their appeal is Toyota's strong resale value, which is evident in the diesel Fortuner's domination of the used market after debuting in 2018.
